Our first field trip was honey sweet as we buzzed around the bees and learned about their natural production of liquid gold! Now for our second voyage, we will take in some sun and sport, see majestic horses in motion and learn how to gamble!
The Lifelong Learners Association makes an expedition to The Assiniboia Downs Racetrack! At 6:30pm, Ivan Bigg will give a lecture to "learn the secrets" of betting on horses. Afterwards, free poker, VLTs, and camaraderie! Wild horses couldn't drag you away!!
We will meet at Owen's place at 6pm
Friday July 23rd 436 Toronto St.
and carpool/bike/arrange transit to the RACETRACK!
